HR Coordinator

Job Description

We are recruiting for a well-established Manufacturing company in North Donegal who are seeking a HR Coordinator.

Salary - €40,000 - €50,000 DOE

The chosen candidate will have responsibility for EMEA and APAC with over 360 employees. The HR Coordinator will support manufacturing, sales and other support functions. The company are looking for someone who is flexible, professional, approachable, sharp mindset, organised, good work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Provide HR support to Managers and team members on HR policies, procedures and company benefits
  • Manage the time and attendance system for weekly payroll
  • Develop new initiatives and enhance existing programmes for employee engagement
  • Support employee relations and internal communications activities
  • Maintain HR record systems to ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
  • Assist line managers in performance management procedures
  • Perform induction training, onboarding and update records with new hires
  • Produce and submit reports on HR activity

Skills & Attributes required

  • Relevant experience in HR (e.g. HR Officer, Generalist)
  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
  • Recruitment and selection experience including familiarity with social media recruiting
  • Experience of managing discipline and grievance processes
  • Professional approach with up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Excellent ability to utilise systems including MS packages, HRIS and time and attendance
  • Effective written and oral communication skills 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence for positive outcomes
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • CIPD certification is an advantage
