Job Description

Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper – Dublin 15

On behalf of our Client, Reed Recruitment has a very varied role, reporting to the Financial Controller with a large degree of autonomy through which you will have exposure to finance and operations including but not limited to HR and IT.

Role Requirements
Strong experience in bookkeeping or accounting technician foundation-level qualification are desirable.
Good team player with ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues.
Advanced IT skills, knowledge of Opera or similar
An interest in systems/process improvement or Lean advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue commissioner reporting & returns – VIES/Intrastat
  • Bank processing – supplier payments & receipts posting
  • Month end journals & reconciliations
  • Debtors control
  • Assist with HR
  • General office admin duties
