ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR - County Meath, near Ashbourne

Reed Recruitment are searching for an Accounts Administrator for our Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded in conjunction with general administration duties.

* Own transport essential as no transport links in the area

Salary: €40,000 - €42,000


Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable and bank/credit card statements
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Processing payments
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
  • Processing RCT Payments for subcontractors on ROS
  • General administrative duties as and when required

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Experience with Xero an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Experience working within the Construction industry an advantage
