The Royal Marine Hotel, a South Dublin institution established in 1828, is looking for an Accommodation Supervisor to join our team. Set in four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking Dublin Bay, this 4-star hotel is a place where high standards and quality service are the norms. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our housekeeping department and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping in line with department SOPs.
  • Work closely with the front office to ensure accurate room status communication.
  • Communicate maintenance requests clearly to the Engineering Team.
  • Handle all guest requests professionally and promptly.
  • Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with the team and ensure ongoing training.
  • Keep the office, linen room, storage rooms, and trolleys neat, orderly, and well-stocked.
  • Check rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
  • Oversee the completion of all checklists by the linen porter, public area, and night attendant.
  • Cover for other accommodation staff as necessary.
  • Keep the team informed about daily events, group functions, and guest activities.
  • Enforce procedures for guest lost property.
  • Conduct inventories and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience in a 3/4 star hotel with a focus on quality.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Proven track record of driving standards in a similar role.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and full-time availability.
  • Right to work in Ireland.
