Job title: Payroll Officer

Salary: Up to £30k per annum


REED Accountancy are working exclusively with a business based in North Birmingham with a view to recruit a senior payroll officer on a permanent basis to join their HR team. This is an urgent requirement so little/no notice period is ideal.


Duties include:

  • Processing a weekly & monthly payroll from start to finish.
  • Pensions administration
  • Processing statutory payments i.e. SSP/SMP/SPP etc
  • Processing deductions such as student loans, CSA payments etc.
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Ad hoc duties as required


Person Specification:

  • Extensive end to end payroll experience
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Pensions admin experience
  • Ideally little/no notice period
  • Sage 50 payroll experience is very advantageous
