A unique opportunity for experienced HR professionals to join a dynamic and growing Multi academy trust with a centralised core HR function, integral to School Improvement. With 23 schools located across Surrey, Oxfordshire, West Sussex and parts of Berkshire their vision is to raise the aspirations and achievement of all children within their family of schools.

As HR Partner you will work closely with a group of allocated schools, which may be determined by home location. Office base could be local schools or Head Office in Surrey.

Reporting to the Head of HR you will take responsibility for varied HR casework, providing advice, coaching and support to school leaders on absence management, disciplinary, capability, grievance, restructuring and other HR related matters.
In addition you will be involved in HR development project work and the delivery of training to school leaders. Whilst the central team is based in Clay gate, Surrey, as part of your role you will be required to travel to the schools and work alongside school leaders with HR casework in order to enable best outcomes for the schools.

The successful candidate will:

Be a Chartered member of the CIPD with significant generalist HR experience
Have a flexible, hands on, pragmatic approach and an interest in Employee Relations
Demonstrate evidence of a substantial HR experience with a d customer facing multi-site environment
Have experience of managing complex employee relations issues to reach satisfactory outcomes
Have experience of leading on organisational change activities e.g. Restructures, TUPE
Have proven experience of supporting the development and delivery of HR strategies and delivery associated action plans
Demonstrate a desire to continue to develop professionally
Be innovative, solution focused and a team player
Preferably have experience of the education sector
Have a clean current driving licence, own car and flexibility to travel
