I am currently recruiting for a prestigious hotel based in the Southend-on-sea area. My client are looking for a Front Office Manager to help run the smooth operation and delivery of excellent customer service and staffing.

General Responsibilities-
-To assist the General Manager and Operations Manager with the preparation of budgets.
-Ensure that sales targets are set, achieved and improved where appropriate., making sure KPI's and Customer satisfaction levels are achieved.
-To liaise with the Accounts department to ensure the up to date and accurate preparation of bills on a daily basis.
-To ensure that all credit limits are maintained and to prepare end of month reports and any other financial / statistical information as required.
-To oversee, co-ordinate and communicate with all Front Office personnel to ensure optimum occupancy and average room rate for the purpose of maximising revenue.
-To ensure compliance with all Company and legal policies and procedures.
-To be aware of daily arrivals and to ensure proper planning is in place to ensure guest expectations are met.
-To carry out Company’s customer relations policy and communicate hotel services to guests.
-Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
-To assume responsibility for the completion of rosters and holiday lists for all permanent and casual staff and complete wage timesheets in an accurate and timely fashion.
-To ensure departmental compliance with Personnel procedures and administration requirements and assist in the maintenance of personnel files as required.
-To establish and maintain operational procedures / standards from the Front Desk alongside the Head Receptionist.
-Maintain a close working relationship between Sales, Reservations and Front Office.

Must have experience within hospitality and management
Must have used OPERA (reservation system) 
IT proficient
