Reed HR are partnered with a company in North West London, in order to recruit for a part-time Head of HR (3 days a week). This is a permanent role.

 

The role and your responsibilities:
- Lead the HR function, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits and talent management
- Represent HR on the senior management team
- Be the first contact for all HR queries
- Provide daily administration support and be responsible for the administration in the HR function
- Lead and take part in HR related projects
- Work with the SMT to develop strategies
- Review, update and embed the organisations employment policies and procedures
- Promote a positive organisational culture
- Develop processes to enable recruitment and retention of high-quality staff
- Provide advice and support managers to ensure effective recruitment
- Lead on the recruitment process
- Provide advice on salary and benefits
- Develop and implement a training and development plan

 

The Person:
To be successful in this role, you will have proven Head of HR experience, ideally within the not for Profit Sector.

 

You will need to have/be:
- Strong HR experience
- Strong customer focus and personal credibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of employment law
- Strategic HR experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Good numerical and IT skills
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or working towards this)
