Our client requires a fully qualified Finance Manager to lead a team within a high growth environment who has a proven ability in developing and implementing strong controls and procedures.
Please only apply for this role if you are a fully qualified Accountant who has managed finance teams and has experience within either real estate/property, hospitality or a multisite environment and have experience implementing new processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure finance objectives of delivering high quality reporting is sustained within deadlines
- Establish new systems and process, construct reporting spreadsheets and roll out manual procedures for the Management Accountant and Finance Assistant
- Setup reporting processes while maintaining a forward-looking perspective to adapt finance procedures as new systems are onboarded and automations/efficiencies are achieved
- Producing and maintaining finance policies and procedure manuals
- Accountable for timely and accurate production of P&Ls for multiple sites, monthly management accounts and other investor reports
- Provide P&L analysis and commentary on revenue, costs and KPIs
- Ownership of credit control & accounts payable process
- Authorising supplier payments and expense claims, ensuring accurate, timely allocations and direct debit collections
- Mentoring, developing and recruiting a finance team
- Business partnering with sites and other corporate departments
- Support Financial Controller and CFO as and when required
Key Skills, Experience & Traits:
- Fully Qualified Accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent
- Experience within the property/real estate or hospitality sector is a must
- Must have multi-site experience
- Significant experience within corporate/listed environment not straight from practice
- High level ability to present financial information and commentary in a succinct and clear manner which is relevant to the audience
- Strong people management and staff development experience
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and approach problems with a positive attitude
- Experience setting up processes and systems that support a strong financial control environment
- Finance Systems implementation experience will be highly advantageous
- High level communication skills and ability to convey messages to finance and non-finance staff
