REED Business Support, Newbury are working in partnership with an independent Estate Agent in Newbury to recruit for an Experienced Property Manager within the Lettings Department.
My client has an excellent reputation within the local area and are continuously growing. With a very low staff turnover, my client is known for its employee satisfaction as well as their progression, training plans, staff socials and charity events that they run!
In the role of Property Manager you will be expected to manage a portfolio of approximately 150 properties. This will mainly involve responding to enquiries via telephone and email as well as meeting with potential clients that visit the office. It is vital that you have excellent communication skills as you will be the point of contact for both Landlords and Tenants.
As part of these enquiries you will gather feedback on property inspections and maintenance work, keep the online reporting system up to date on a daily basis, deal with notices from tenants, and manage deposit negotiations and also any renewal negotiations, as well as any tenant utility bills, health & safety legislations and much more.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous property management experience, either within estate agency or a housing association to join a market leading estate agent with true values to their customers and employees!
The role is based in Newbury (with free car parking), and the working hours will be Monday to Friday 08.30am - 18.00pm, Saturday 9.00am to 17.00pm. You will work approximately one in four Saturdays, but will get a day off during the week.
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience, plus a monthly commission. As you gain more experience you can expect your basic and commission to increase.
Please note due to the nature of the role you should have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle. Any mileage as part of your role, will be expensed.
