Our Client was established in 1920s and is a national provider of facility and property related services, active across the public and private property sectors, including commercial, health, education distribution, leisure, local authority and retail markets.

 To lead the Enfield based commercial team working with our directly employed workforce and subcontractors
alike to ensure that tight financial controls are enforced thereby ensuring that profit margins
are maintained or enhanced.

Management of Commercial team, including freelance Quantity Surveyors using NSR, PSA and bespoke
 Liaising with other Commercial Teams within the Group ensuring an aligned approach to clients and
 Liaising with Group functions, such as Credit Control and Purchase Ledger.
 Oversee the financial aspects of key contracts, with an individual value of upto £2,000,000, which are
delivered by our National Projects Team.
 Ensuring financial probity and compliance with Company policies.
 Logging all interim invoices and managing the cash flow on larger projects to ensure that such projects remain cash positive. Liaising with our Contract and Project managers to achieve this.
 Highlighting to the senior management team in Enfield any poor performing or non-profit making contracts
and projects.
 Monitoring and reporting on all WIP for divisions reporting into Enfield, including day to day reactive works,
quick response estimating works and the National Projects team
 Preparing data and chairing conference calls with our National Project Team managing their WIP.
 Answering & controlling all DDR’s for all Enfield based Divisions
 Monitoring profit margins and authorising low margin invoices. To support the Commercial Team with a
sound practical knowledge of building fabric materials and practices to minimise such instances.
 Monitoring and reporting on financial performance of individual engineers, contractors and contract
 Dealing with cost transfers and late costs
 Supporting credit control in maintaining good client relationships on aged invoices
 Assisting with preparation of forecasts.

The knowledge, skills, qualifications, competencies and experience relevant to the position are:
 Experience in a similar role for a multi disciplined large Facilities Management provider
 Clean driving licence

viewing issues in terms of costs, profits/ returns, budget control, Working Capital, markets and added
 Risk Management – effectively manages risks and ensures that the interests of the business, others
and self are protected.
