Working in the collections assist team you will help support our most vulnerable customers who have fallen into arrears whom have an additional vulnerability such as a critical illness, are suffering from ill mental health or have some other vulnerability that affects their ability to pay their secured and unsecured mortgage commitments. You will manage each case on a one to one basis, reviewing the customers holdings holistically, ensuring that use all of the tools available to us to provide solutions. We ensure that whatever solution we use our customers are fully informed and given the time that they need to obtain help, advice and or medical treatment.

With many unique situations, no day is the same for a Collections Assist Advisor.

To succeed in this role you will need to be able to

- Manage individual cases and build a rapport with customers

- Support implementation of new systems and technologies

- Be as empathetic as possible

- Resolve queries which may require investigation

- Hit quality targets

- Identify issues requiring escalation

- Have a working knowlege and experiance of collections strategies, processes and systems

- Have an excellent telephone mannor

- Have good computer skills

Salary: £16750 - £21000 pa with an extremely rewarding pay progression scheme plus a typical 7% annual bonus

Hours of work: Full time 35 hours a week between 8am - 9pm Mon - Thurs, 8am - 7pm Fri, 9am - 5pm Sat & 10am - 3pm Sun
