Junior Legal Executive for Defence Litigation Department

Job Description
• Support to Partner in defence personal injury
• Preparing e-briefs for instructing counsel and experts and assisting in preparation of briefs for trial.
• Assisting with engrossing of pleadings, preparation of Discovery and review of legal and case documents.
• Stamping, lodgement and service of court documentation and attending court offices if necessary.
• Dealing with routine queries, correspondence regarding insurance defence files.
• Filing and ensuring files are kept up to date.
• Dealing with internal and external solicitors daily.
• Have strong organisational & IT skills.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be highly motivated with a strong work ethic.


Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years Legal Executive/Paralegal experience in litigation essential.
• Legal Secretary seeking to advance to Legal Executive.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills essential.
• Focused solution approach required with ability to prioritise decisions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communicator and interpersonal skills with ability to both work on a team or on own initiative.
• Highly motivated.
• A professional manner and excellent communications, both written and oral.
