Claims Technician - Casualty

Reed is delighted to partner with our Client based in Cork City - They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Technician to join their Casualty Team. Reporting to the Head of Casualty you will be an active member of the Support function with the overall objective of providing effective support to Casualty Adjusters, facilitating efficiency and productivity in the handling of Casualty claims.

Duties in the role:

• Assisting Casualty Adjusters with administration and data capture
• Controlling the lifecycle of files to drive diary management and proactive handling of claims from setting up to conclusion 
• Liaising with insured, insurers, brokers and third parties to ensure optimum customer service, becoming a point of contact where needed for interested parties
• Production of technical reports for Adjusters in compliance with professional standards and service level agreements
• Ensuring time reporting and invoicing is compliant with internal systems and processes
• Producing Management Information for clients and for internal use including performance measurement and data integrity
• Ensuring company standards in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security
• Account management support 
• Incoming telephone calls / queries
• Other ad hoc work as required

About you - Knowledge and Experience:
Organised and self-motivated to deliver quality output to deadline
Methodical, accurate and analytical 
Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a clear, concise and structured manner 
Strong relationship management skills, with ability to establish good working relationships with your team, colleagues and 3rd parties
Excellent stakeholder management with an ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
Thrive in a high-pressure working environment
Driven to meet and exceed targets
Flexible with regards to travel which may be required as and when
