Administrator & Accounts Assistant - Dublin 16- Full-time, permanent role- 28K 

Our client, a dedicated broker only insurance agency, are looking for an organised and proactive candidate to join their busy office.

This would be an office based role due to the nature of the job responsibilities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Answer the phones and take messages
  • Greet guests and answer the front door and intercom
  • Book meeting rooms, taxis etc
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail
  • General filing
  • Write and send bulk e-mails and letters
  • Carry out regular stationery stock audits
  • Ensure the office and kitchen are kept clean and tidy
  • Organise any maintenance work for the building
  • Allocate receipts to customer’s accounts
  • E-mail customer monthly statements
  • Call debtors and manage credit control
  • Liaise with various departments to resolve debtors' queries
  • Lodge cheques in bank
  • Pay claims and reconcile claims bank accounts
  • Manage PO system and pay creditors
  • Bank reconciliations

Essential criteria:

  • Excellent phone manner and fluent English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to a busy workplace
  • Experience of accounts and/or debtors either through work or study

Desirable but not essential:

  • Access to a car and a full driver's license, to go to the bank
  • Worked in insurance before
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
